Learn all about pollinators in one sweet event. Hands-on activities and presentations about the importance of bees, pollinator plants and insects. With Erin Rupp, the founder of Pollinate Minnesota, each participant will have a chance to put on a beekeeping suit, hold a frame, see baby bees, taste honey right from the colony and, if we're lucky, see the queen!
Heather Holm is a biologist, pollinator conservationist, and award-winning author. Heather will share from her wealth of information and also sign her books! U of M Bee Squad will be on hand to share about their Hive to Bottle program and Heidi will help you with your pollinator friendly plant questions and selections.
